THE MOST COMMON BRAKE DRAG PROBLEMS

  1. Residual check valve left in master cylinder.
    Solutions:  Remove residual check valve from master cylinder. If you have rear drum brakes install A10# inline residual check valve in rear hydraulic system.

  2. No Master Cylinder Push Rod Free Play.
    solution:  Adjust push rod for adequate free play.

  3. Air Trapped In Hydraulic System and Expands When Hot.
    Solution: 
    Bleed air from hydraulic system properly.  Make sure all bleed screws point up for proper bleeding.

  4. Caliper Not Mounting Square To rotor.
    Solution: 
    Remount caliper properly.

  5. After Install Test Drive (A short One) Raise Car and spin tires.  If they drag, don't drive.  re-check and if you can't locate the problem,
